National Library Board (NLB) Woodlands Regional Library talk

On Sunday 28 May 2023, I had the honour of speaking at the National Library of Singapore’s Woodlands Regional Library.

The tickets for “Introduction to the violin” were sold out weeks in advance and my students Rika Kato and Nina Tsuboi excitedly prepared for this public outreach.

Mother, Fathers and their children between 4-12 years old listened and participated at this lively that brought violins to life. They learnt about famous violinists, composers and were treated to live performances by competition-winning young violinists.

After the talk, parents could not wait to get their children started on music lessons!
