In my approach to tailored learning, I step into each child’s shoes to understand their unique thought process, ensuring that I meet them at their level of comprehension. By using analogies and stories that incorporate animals, emotions, and vivid visual imagery, I make complex concepts more relatable and easier to grasp. I recognize that children of different age groups follow distinct learning trajectories, and even within the same age group, learning styles can vary significantly. It takes an experienced teacher to navigate these nuances, identify each child’s innate capabilities, and nurture them to reach their highest potential.

Each lesson in my curriculum is carefully structured to include a balance of scales, etudes, and songs, ensuring students develop strong technical skills alongside musicality. For intermediate to advanced students, additional focus is placed on mastering vibrato, shifting positions, and producing clear ring tones. I recommend ABRSM exams for students who are both capable and motivated, as they provide an excellent benchmark for progress. Competitions are also encouraged if the student and parents express interest, offering valuable performance experience and fostering a deeper commitment to their musical journey.
